Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very GoodI don't know why your speaker blew. Mine works very well. I used an Audio Spectrum Analyzer. I could get down to 47hz before mine bottoms out. It's rare for most of my songs to get below 47 though. I got it to cleary produce 3Khz. I never exceed 25 watts. I have trophies falling off my shelves, and I hear it throughout my entire house. It's definately window rattling.Maybe yours blew becasue you didn't wear it in. I don't know if your supposed to, but that's what I always do. I use my analyzer to keep it at an oscilitating 25hz for about an hour, at half volume. I do this free-air before I even enclose it.My box isn't even that nice, it's more for looks, but it still explodes. I have plexiglass on the front and a light wired to light up every time the bass hits. It's a little, high watt, low voltage light. It's daul ported, with Monster cable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK.This sub-woofer is just a cheap woofer with a car audio company's Logo glued on it. The bass stinks . I cant get any thing below 65 HZ out of it. BO NOT BUY THIS!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from You get what you pay forI can sum this up easily by stating that this speaker blew within the first week! I was only running 200 clean watts to it at 4 ohms and off she went. Smoking and all. Of course I should have had a hint with the super low price and all. Notice there is not mention of the magnet weight. Thats because its very small. One marker of a cheap woofer. A total waste of $35.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great speaker for the pricei bought a pair of these speakers to replace a set of blown kustom pa speakers. i know they are car subs but for the price i could not pass up the chance. when i got them i put them in the cabs and to my surprise the performed well they are in a little bit too big of an enclosure. but they are worth the price i have them run in parallel on a pv-4c amplifier with about 250 watts per channel. i would buy these again.

What is the cut out diameter and the overall diameter?

Asked by: R.J. Maurer
The BOSS manual states cutout diameter as 11 1/4". There is no overall diameter listed , but you typically add 1" to 1-1/2" to the cutout. Overall diameter is easy to measure once you have the subwoofer in hand, perhaps that is why no OD is listed.
