BOSS BASS1400 10" Low Profile Amplified Subwoofer 1400 Watt
What's a suitable location to place this in a 98 ford expedition Eddie Bauer?
These are generally placed under a seat or in the back of the vehicle. You will have to play with different areas to get the results you like the most.

I have a 2012 Corolla with stock radio. I'm planning on getting new speakers and this powered woofer. Will this work with the stock radio?
Yes. This has speaker level inputs so it only needs to be tied into the stock speaker wires for the signal. It will still require power from the battery like any other car amplifier however.

I have a 2013 super cab f-150. Does this bass hook up to only one of my existing speakers with no other wiring needed?
This does have speaker level inputs for that type of connection, but the amplifier will still require power from the battery. This will require a standard amplifier wiring kit.http://www.parts-express.com/streetwires-zn1k-08-zeronoise-1-series-8-awg-amp-kit-red-black--263-1751

How do they get lots of bass using a box with such small dimensions? Is it ported?
This is a sealed subwoofer. These are able to produce low frequencies because of cabin gain, basically the help of the small area inside a car boosting output and low end.

Is the 10" driver removable? I'd like to try this with the option to upgrade with a different slim sub if needed.
The driver is not specifically removable from the enclosure.
