BIC Venturi DV84 8" Tower Speaker Black
Would these be ok to run 3 off for LCR? or should i get the DV62 centre? These will be hidden behind a screen. Alternatively 3 x Bic FH-6T or matching centre. Setup will be for 100% movies only.
Either option will work, personally I would use three towers.

Can one of these speakers run off of one 100w channel?
Yes, 100 watts will be plenty for one of these.

What Amp would you recommend for these?
Can anyone recommend an affordable amp that would match these? I am looking for the most balanced sound possible.
Hello John. I truly appreciate this forum, courtesy of Parts Express, facilitating an exchange of thoughts, recommendation, and education. As relates to your query, before I, or others offer advice, it would be helpful to know the room size/dimensions, the components you own, listening habits, and your ultimate goals. For example, were these speakers to be incorporated in a basic stereo configuration, in a very large room, suggestions may be different vs a home theater application in a small apt.. Ultimately, the factory sensitivity is stated as 90db, which is reasonably sensitive, requiring less power to achieve a given sound level. Upon answering the above questions, it will be easier to offer suggestions. Thanks....

Can banana connectors be used on these speakers?
No. I have a pair of these and you have to attach the wire through a hole in the binding post. It is pretty roomy though - I use 10 gauge wire and it went in the post just fine.

It's rumored that these use peerless drivers. Can anyone confirm this? Preferably with a link to more info. Thanks!
I can neither confirm nor deny the rumor you've heard. BIC may or may not be willing to divulge such information, you can reach them at 1-877-558-4242.
