BIC Formula FH56-BAR Speaker Bar System
I recently purchased this BIC Formula FH56-BAR Speaker Bar System form PE. I like the sound but a little short on the low end frequncy (bass). What would be a great upgrade replacment speaker for the (2) 6 1/2 woofers in ths speaker bar?
There are a couple problems with this. The woofers used in this system use multi voice coil design in order to be used for both center and left/right duties and we do not have anything that will be able to replace that. Also, a speaker bar like this is not supposed to reproduce a huge amount of lows, the 37 Hz extension is a bit optimistic. You are also limited by the enclosure itself, so changing the woofers would not necessarily amount to more bass. You would be farther ahead adding a small subwoofer to fill out the low end which is likely what BIC had in mind for this bar.

I recently purchased this sound bar from you and it sounds fine, but I can distinctly hear sound from the side (surround speakers) even though they are not connected to my receiver... How is this possible and is this normal or there something wrong?

I have a 7.1 receiver. I see the bar is marked with right and left rear but I was thinking of connecting my right and left side channels there and still running rear surround, would you advise this?
I don't see any problem doing this.

Do I need a receiver to use this? Is it possible to use this with the audio out from the television?
This is a passive speaker so a receiver is required for it to work. The audio output on the TV is likely not powered so this will not work.

Maybe silly question, but I only want to attach to a "stereo" small LCD-TV. Which input pair do I use (center)??
I would recommend only using the left and right front channels for a stereo setup with this sound bar.
