from Excellent features and preformance for the price. This is a great addition to my sound system, quality and performance in a 3U case. The large slide range makes it optimal for a fine tuning all frequencies. The "Feed Back Destroyer" is also a great component to have.

from Mixed bagBought it in a pinch for a low-buck EQ. Really like the features, but the lack of quality is very apparent. Pro's first: The digital nature is much cleaner than analog in terms of cross-over point phasing. This makes the hi-freq adjustments much cleaner. Hard to find another digital eq at this price. Due to modest noise floor I'd certainly run it properly gain-staged (it's digital so you have to do that anyway...). Con's: no felt dust traps on faders. Powersupply anemic - the more LEDs that light, the dimmer the others flicker. I opened it up to peek inside... they purposefully warp the I/O board on the back rather than splitting it and using 2 boards.... and did I mention the hot-melt glue (I think that's what it is)?I'd feel ok using it in a building install, but not in a live rig.Mike

from cheap noisy junkUsing this Behringer DEQ1024 Ultragraph Digital EQin a upper mid level Crown/JBL system and the amount of noise that this thing adds at even a negative to flat setting cann't even be handeled by its own onboard noise gate. The Crown/JBL system was superbly clean until the addition of the Behringer DEQ1024 Ultragraph Digital EQ.As soon as you bypass the EQ the noise subsides.Sent it back for a new one thinking it was defective. The new one is exactly the same, a noisy piece of junk.I guess the old addage,"you get what you pay for", still applies!

from Great Product, great features, very functionalWe purchased this unit for use in our church. It is awsome. THe funcitons it has and changable scales are perfect for quick adjustments between speaking and singing engagements. Would like to see RS232 interface, but for the money, you cannot beat it. I will be adding two of these into my home theater system in the next year. The feedback destroyer component is awsome, it not only limits feedback, but it points out to you where exactly it is so you can simply pull that freq range down a bit and keep the volume up...Awsome product.
