B&C ME10 1" Hyperbolic Cosine Horn 90x60 2-Bolt

B&C's ME10 1" hyperbolic cosine ABS horn combines the optimal acoustic loading of exponential horns with the regular coverage of constant directivity horns. It has been optimized for use with the DE10 driver, but produces excellent results with the entire B&C Speakers 1" driver family.

Specifications: • Nominal dispersion: 90°H x 60°V • Minimum frequency: 1,500 Hz • Throat diameter: 1" • Dimensions: 5.1"H x 5.1"W x 3.5"D • Cutout dimensions: 4.1"H x 4.1"W • Mounting type: Standard 2 bolt.

B&C Speakers produces a series of horns for compression drivers ranging from constant directivity models, known for their great consistency in angular coverage, to exponential models, which optimize acoustical loading and sound energy transfer. Standardized driver mounting flanges give the designer the freedom to choose the best horn/driver combination for each project.

All horns are made of cast aluminum, resulting in a robust structure that is free from resonances. The only exception to this method is the ME10; a new design that is made from precision molded plastic and incorporates stiffeners that add to its structural integrity. B&C combines advanced design techniques with critical listening tests to manufacture horns that exhibit precise pattern control, excellent driver loading, and low distortion and coloration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good price/performance ratio. The ME-10's are nicely built, good fit and finish.I'm currently using the ME-10 mated with the DE-10 and 8PS21 midwoofer and together they make a outstanding setup. They provide great clarity and detail/resolution without becoming fatiguing during long periods of listening time.Test results can be seen at

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal Tweeter lensCoupled to the B&C DE-10 driver (it was designed for it), this horn delivers an ideal 90x60 pattern. Most pro level mid-horns are either 90 or 60 degree polar pattern, this will accomodate both by simple rotation. This combo won't be a secret for long. I can almost tell what kind of brass the cymbals are made of and I'm going back and listening to all my music again with the tweeter........AMAZING.

ME10 Orientation

The B&C ME10 is a 60x90 horn flare. Can you tell me what is the correct orientation for the flares. They also have raised bosses molded into the flange raised bosses molded into the flange. Do these bosses line up with the 60 or 90 degree side?
Asked by: 280SL
The horn is square according to the dimensions, so the "bosses" or gussets, mechanically should and appear to be on the 90 side. I would mount it as shown, 90-horizontal.
