B&C 8PE21 8" Midrange Speaker
Hi Your web page states the 8PE21 has a copper shorting ring but the pdf spec sheet does not show it nor does the one on the B&C website. Can you verify if it does in fact have a shorting ring? Thanks
B&C's website claims this driver has an Xmax of 3.5 mm. Your website claims an Xmax of 1 mm. Which is correct?!? This is a huge difference in max performance and max SPL.
The Xmax on this driver is 3.5mm, I will have the site updated.

Does this speaker come in 4 ohms? Tryed an 8 ohm in my monitor and it smoked and fryed on stage.
Having a 4ohm over an 8ohm will not do anything to keep a driver from burning up. It sounds like you gave the speaker too much power and/or bass frequencies that lie outside of the designed range. If anything, a 4ohm will draw more current and burn up even quicker. This, and other 8 inch pro drivers are designed for mid bass applications, make sure you have a high-pass filter installed to keep the lower octaves away from the driver.

how many speakers come in a packege that cost 110 dollars ?
it is just 1 speaker that cost that or what ?
This product is sold individually, not in pairs. B&C is a very highly regarded Italian manufacturer of speaker components, generally considered to be among the upper echelon in the industry.
