B&C 18TBX100 18" Woofer
Confused about Watts for this speaker. Prts Expss says Power Handling RMS 1200w, Power Handling max 2400w. B&C says Nominal Power Handling 1200w, Continuous Power Handling 2400w. What Power amp? 1200w or 2400w. Thought RMS & Continuous was same meaning.
Some companies rate RMS and peak, other companies will have RMS, continuous (or program) and peak. RMS is measured via sine wave so its accuracy in the real world is limited. Continuous in this case is "program power" which means under normal conditions, music, vocals, etc. In reality, any amp rated between 1200 and 2400 watts will be plenty for these drivers.

Will this Sub fit in JE-36 enclosures? I have a couple cabinets I'm not using and would like to get some usage out of them.
The sub will work in the enclosure, you will have to verify the actual dimensions for fitting.
