Can I use this on home system with rca inputs/outputs?

Asked by: Supreme
Absolutely! I have a Berhinger 31 Band EQ in one of my systems and it works great. You must make sure you have a Tape Monitor (Tape 2) button on your home receiver/preamp. It may be called something else depending on your gear. Basically, once pressed, it sends your audio signal out and expects it to come back. A lot of people accidentally hit this button and lose sound in their system entirely. If you have the EQ in the Tape Monitor "Loop", then it adjusts any audio source hooked up to your system and sends it back in. Depending on your system, there are two other ways of hooking this up if you lack a Tape Monitor. If you have preamp/amp separates, then you can install it between the two. Or if your receiver has "preout/main in" jumpers, you can install it in lieu of the jumpers. However, these last two options are not ideal. The reason is because the signal is being EQ'd after the volume control. The EQ operates best at a fixed signal level, varying the volume may cause all sorts of mischief. Also, as mentioned above by samplerman, you will need those adapters. BBE is a great name in the pro field, good build quality and good sound, and it comes with a five year warranty!

misplaced my manual how do i get another copy

Asked by: Whatiship
Go on the web (your favorite search engine) and search for the product including "manual" in your search words. That should get you a link to the manual. Or find BBE's website and look there. Another possibility would be to search ebay for it.
