how would you rate this speaker for high end? aurum cantus ac13050ck
Not sure what you mean by "high end". If you are referring to the quality of the driver or it's sound characteristics compared to other brands, I would personally rate it very well. When implemented properly, the AC units can perform admirably next to some of the best regarded drivers in the industry. Their response is always smooth and the tone is solid. Everyone has a different taste so your mileage may vary when comparing to other drivers. If you are referring to "high end" as in higher frequencies, that is a different story. The speaker is fairly easy to work with as far as building a crossover is concerned and the natural roll off isn't bad even if implemented without a crossover though I would recommend something at or below 4k depending on your application.

aurum cantus ac130/50ck 5 1/4 mid can it be crossed at 4000 and how
Sure, it could be crossed at 4kHz. I don't have a 2-way board at this specific frequency, but we do have 3.5kHz or 4.5kHz. In a 3-way board, we have a 4kHz crossover. I've linked all three below for your convenience. You could also build your own custom crossover to the specifications of this and the other drivers you're using, usually with more satisfying results. It simply depends on your level of experience and how much you're willing to put into the project.
