from Excellent value, will be buying another!Just got this Aura amp about 35 minutes ago and have to post a review for anyone "on the edge" of buying this thing. It's build quality is excellent to say the least. Compared to my previous amp (won't call any companies out, but it references a common concrete-breaking tool in the product's name), it's heavier, MUCH better sounding, and overall just a better product...for less than half the price. The housing is thick aluminum, it's Aura logo lights up a pleasant not-too-bright blue, the connections feel solid...the list goes on.I hooked it up to a fairly powerful tractor battery in my basement and first hooked it up to my TC Sounds EPIC 12. Initially I thought the bass was weak compared to my previous amp, but after about a minute I realized the x-over was still down to 30hz...Silly me. This amp sounds good! It took my woofer and told it exactly how to play the music, note for note, I have no doubt with my new TC Sounds LMS-R my car will "bump" AND sing. Another thing, I'm fairly sure this amp is a little underrated. Can't say that scientifically, but it's definitely better at 4 ohms than my old "600 watt" piece of mediocrity.Briefly tried it full range, and it sounds just as good. the midbass-up is nice and full..not chesty or boomy by any means, just "there". The best part for me are the highs. No nasty sibilance or anything that most car amps I've played with give you. I'm going to buy at least one more as a speaker amp, and perhaps another as a spare!

from Best bang for the buck periodI recently installed one of these in place of an Alpine PDX1.1000 that was running a pair of subs at 2 ohms. I switched it up and ran 1 Aura RPM2300 in stereo one channel to each sub. The subs are dramatically cleaner sounding while still providing the same amount of bass. The subs are actually a lot morecontrolled and accurate. I expected a big drop off in power, however this amp clearly is overbuilt. It provides a ton of power and does it very cleanly. For $99 it is the best bargain you can find to power a front set of components or even subs as in my case.
