These easy-to-use wireless systems feature eight user-selectable frequency-coordinated channels, diversity operation for increased range and reliability, automatic frequency scanning, Tone Lock™ squelch and more. Up to eight systems can be used simultaneously without competing for the same frequency. Pro Series 5 systems come equipped with your choice of handheld, headworn, or lavalier microphones, body-pack only, or choose a system designed for guitar or other Hi-Z instrument hookup.
All Pro Series 5 systems include the PRO-R500 receiver, which features antenna-switching diversity reception. Advanced logic circuitry monitors reception, selecting the superior signal from two antennae, providing you with better sound quality and greatly reducing the possibility of interference and dropouts. Soft-touch controls provide convenient access to selection of operating frequency and automatic scanning, while an easy-to-read LED display indicates selected channel and scanning operation, plus Antenna and AF Peak indicators. You have your choice of balanced XLR or unbalanced 1/4" output connectors for maximum versatility, and Audio-Technica's exclusive Tone Lock™ squelch technology virtually eliminates noise and interference when the transmitter is not engaged.
The PRO-501 system includes the versatile PRO-T501 UniPak® body-pack transmitter, which has a 4-pin locking input connector with a bias connection, making it compatible with dynamic and electret condenser microphones, as well as Hi-Z instrument pickups. The UniPak® transmitter also offers separate trim controls for guitar and microphone, plus switchable high and low RF power settings. Pro Series 5 body-pack systems are compatible with all Audio-Technica Wireless Essentials® microphones and cables, and other microphones using the 4-pin locking-style connector. Add the headset or lavalier microphone of your choice (or the AT-GcW instrument cable), and you'll be rocking the casbah in no time!
