70V 30 Watt Speaker Volume Control Attenuator Wall Plate
Hi, this is for stereo applications, correct? I have two speakers (L and R) over a jacuzzi and this volume control will do both?
This is only designed for 70v systems, not 8 ohm systems. If you are looking to control a pair of 8 ohm speakers you will want to look at something like this:http://www.parts-express.com/wired-home-csvc50-impedance-matching-rotary-speaker-volume-control-50w--300-560

Want to replace the ones I have. On back of existing is a CH1 with 4 terminals and a CH2 with 4 terminals on a box on back of switch with the following printed on it. AT-50H Violet L-8(ohm symbol) Will the #300-044 work in place of existing?

Is this control have a transformer ? The Input is the 70V line but what is the output to the speaker ? low Z ? Do we have to bypass the transformer at the enclosure ?
Yes this has a transformer but it does not take the place of the transformer on the speaker or at the amplifier. This has a simple +/- input and +/- output to be used in line with a 70V speaker.
