5.1 Home Theater Package 12" Powered Subwoofer
What are the specs. on the subwoofer? Xmas, (Fs) port diameter, etc.? Does P.E. sell this subwoofer driver separately and if so what is its part number? Same for the amplifier; what is the part number? Thanks
This subwoofer is the Dayton SUB-1200. We do not sell the amp or driver separately, they are proprietary to these models. The enclosure tuning frequency is around 28 Hz.http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-sub-1200-12-120-watt-powered-subwoofer--300-629

I have this package, and I have a question regarding mounting. It comes with several rubber pads, which I assume are to be used with the included wall mounts, but there are no instructions showing how these pads should be used.
The rubber pads are supposed to be used as small feet if these will be sitting on a desktop or credenza. The foam rubber strips go between the wall mount and the speaker to help add friction to hold the speaker in place.

Will an 85 watts per channel receiver can be use on this?
Mine is an 85 watts/ channel receiver. I always go by speakers with higher wattage than the receiver. Satellite speaker is just about there.
This setup will work fine with a receiver like that, the smaller satellites will never see anywhere near 85 watts, especially if you have the high pass crossover set around 100 Hz.

do you have speaker mounts (wall, rear) and stands (front) that would be a good firt for these?
Parts express carries the Sanus speaker mounts, they are awesome. You can mount from ceiling or wall with a full range of motion. We use them quite often, as a matter of fact, we carry 2-3 of the 5-pack at all times. They fit any speaker and the price is great compared to anywhere else for a name brand like Sanus. That speaker set is outstanding for the price as well. We used that speaker set at a retirement home where we had a 120" electric screen and Hd projector. We bought an extra pair to make it a 7.1 set up(recommended). And they sound great. We needed to put more $$ towards the control system for easy use by ever changing staff members.

I guess what I want to know is are the speakers self-powered?
Only the subwoofer is self powered. The surround speakers must be powered by your surround receiver.

I have a 2-fold question
Are the satellite speakers 5x50 watts each or 5x10 watts each? Are connections available to connect to a HTPC?
1. 50W per speaker, 120W on sub2. not digital as in optical, line [RCA] I/O only, I think
