Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, minimal impact on soundI bought several of the electrolytics PE capacitors for use in small drivers to block out low bass. With minimal break in, these caps are very transparent while blocking out the lower frequencies. Best comprimise when dealing in really low crossover points.

While not absolutely necessary, a high pass crossover for the full range system is technically correct. A non-polarized 500 MF capacitors connected in series with each main speaker made a nice, cheap 40 Hz crossover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent.I wonder whom manufactures these?For those who don't know these non-polarized electrolytics (NPE's) are actually far superior to standard polarized power supply capacitors though they are considerably larger.I would not have thought so but when someone said my measurents looked too good to be true I performed a series of measurements on standard electrolytics and NPE's and was suprised by the result.I measured two samples of the 500uf value when they arrived and averaged the measurements.Then I modelled a series RLC circuit and optimized the values to curve-fit the RLC model to the measured capacitor data.The results were 514uf, 36mohm and 60nh with the impedance minimum at 29khz.

i like to know the capacitor brand / and if i use one capacitor of 1000uf 100v or if iadd in pararell two capacitors of 500uf 100 v each one of the two choice get better results ?

This is a proprietary Asian brand. Either method will yield the same value, two capacitors in parallel will have twice the voltage rating.

This capacitor is approximately 25mm (1") in diameter, and 55mm (2-1/8") in length, not including the leads.

or to put differently how do i know what frequencies will be dropped/kept in the signal
