Would this be a good speaker for a small guitar speaker cabinet - possible two drivers in ported enclosure? If so, what dimensions or sq. ft. and port number/size?
These should work well for a small, low output practice cab. I would recommend a sealed enclosure instead of ported, that is about 0.3 cubic feet for both drivers.

Hello, I am looking to build a custom enclosure for this 5" woofer and a 1" tweeter (Goldwood GT-510 1" Soft Dome Tweeter). Should I build a sealed or ported enclosure? What should the volume of the enclosure be? What crossover should I use?
I would recommend keeping this sealed in about 0.25 cubic feet. It will work well with that tweeter, a good crossover would be below.http://www.parts-express.com/speaker-crossover-high-pass-8-ohm-5000-hz-100w--260-175

How do I know uf I have the right size specker. The measurement form side to side is 6in and the paper is 5 in.
If the frame diameter of the speaker you have is 6", you will want to look for a 6" speaker. The dimensions are listed for ever model we offer, so you can compare to make sure you are getting the right size.
