Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT AdhesiveHad to find a product that would adhere the tonneau cover, on my pickup bed, that was seperating on one edge. All other products could not stand the adverse outdoor weather conditions for more than a day or two at best. This product seems to be weathering the storm. So to speak. Highly recommended for any use inside or outside !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3M 90 vs 3M 773M 90 was excellent for applying carpet to my cabs. I ran out towards the end and had to finish with the #77 and it lacked the tacky strength of the #90 for getting the carpet edges to stick without touch up afterwards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High strength adhesiveI've used both the #77 and #90. The #90 is by far a better product especially for auto use. The #77 has a tendency to loose the bond after some time. The #90 will never let loose. Perfect for speaker enclosures. Worth the extra $$$$.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best spray adhesiveClean-up with turpentine. Holds longer and better than Scotch 77 for adhering cabinet coverings. It's worth the extra cost. For speaker carpet get it on before the glue dries - don't wait!

i am building 2 Loud speakers with double 15" subs and large horn, they stand around 45" tall 18" wide and 12" deep, would this glue be good for something of this size and weight or would i require something stronger to glue the cabinet carpet on?

Asked by: gavin7991
This will work perfectly fine for that application.

I'm building a (2) x 10" bass speaker cab.  I will be covering it with vinyl/tolex material.  Would contact cement be a more cost effective choice for this small project ?  Thank you…..

Asked by: Jim470
I would recommend spray adhesive for an application like this. Our less expensive #581 works very well and you can get two cans for less than the price of one of the others.
