Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great headphones jackI use these for headphone jacks and for an input jack on a tube preamp project.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality - great connections!!This replaced a jack from R**** S**** that lasted about a week before I startd getting static and cutouts from one or both channels. This new jack is PERFECT! Not a stitch of (bad) noise even when plugging or unplugging the plug. Easy to solder and, although some reviewers complained about the short threads, I found them plenty long enough!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works fine in sealed enclosureWorks just fine electrically. I like that it is sealed compared to an open design if used in a sealed enclosure. There is not very much meat on the threaded area however.

The thread size is not a spec we have, but based on a very rough measurement with a thread gauge, the threads appear to be 0.5mm from peak to peak with an outside diameter of 5.5mm.

I assume the flat silver connection on top is ground for both left and right, and the other two at for positive left and right wires.....

Asked by: joeyg
The long prong is ground/sleeve, the number 1 prong (silver) is for tip, and the number 2 prong (gold) is for ring.
