Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast ShippingUsed as a bass blocker on a 3.5 inch coax speaker for my truck. I think it works better than the 200 uF one that came with it. But I think I should have gotten a different one. As far as I can tell, this 330 uF cap is 90-125 Hz high-pass. I can adjust the high-pass on my stereo and still hear distortion between at 80 and 100 Hz. But much less distortion at 125 Hz which is where I was hoping this cap would put me even with a 10-15% variance. Seems of good quality however. Just not quite right for my needs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent capRecently I've replaced the two 330mf electrolytic caps on my vintage Technics SB-10 speaker crossovers with these guys; overall sound improved almost inmediately, highs and mids now sound clear and natural with huge presence, my 28 years old R&B series came to live and sounding as they should!! Can i use one of these to keep my Dayton Audio DC300-8 12" Classic Woofer down below 800hz??? Or do I need a crossover inductor and if so what kind???

A capacitor is actually a high pass filter so it blocks the bass. You would need an inductor to block the highs. For crossover point 800 Hz on a 8 ohm load you would use a 1.3 mH inductor
