2.1mm x 5.5mm x 11.2mm DC Plug with 6 ft. Cord
hi can anyone tell me if this is suitable for the 6x100watt tda7498 sure amplifier board? im looking to use this from my 36v switching power supply to the amp board anyone know if this will work?
The plug size is correct, but I would recommend a heavier gauge cable than this provides. I would recommend nothing smaller than 16 gauge, 14 would be better for a run longer than a few feet. I would recommend the plug below.http://www.parts-express.com/21mm-x-55mm-power-plug-to-screw-terminals--335-370

I'm considering using this for my guitar's effects board. Is there a shorter version than 6 ft??
Unfortunately no, however you can simply cut the cord to whichever length you may need for your application.

I'm going to use this for my Lepai T-amp
Should the inside be ground and outer shielding positive?
This needs to be wired center positive for the Lepai amplifiers.

What gauge are the conductors in these cords?
Each conductor is 24 AWG.

Is this cable round with both conductors in the same jacket or is it two separate conductors running parallel and fused together (flatter)?
Just wondering if this cable has a completely round jacket with both conductors inside or if it is a parallel cable where two conductors are individually insulated and fused together so the cable has a "flatter" appearance. Thanks!
This cable is made from two separate conductors that are fused together. The center contact is the wire with a white stripe and the ground sleeve is the black wire.
