2-1/4" Paper Cone Tweeter 4 Ohm
2-1/4" Paper Cone Tweeter 4 Ohm is rated 4.25 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unimpressive speaker, even for the priceI purchased these only after PE ran out of the 2" speakers I had been buying for several years. These speakers are not musical in the least. They honk at you in the 4-8k range, with nothing above or below (they're sealed back, so I wasn't expecting much on the bottom end... but was reasonably expecting much more range than they offer). These speakers might best be suited for "beeping" projects that just need to make a noise. If you want to play any music or speaking voice through them, don't waste your time.On a side note, Lyn in the Call Center has been very interested in helping me resolve my issue and find me an appropriate alternative. Kudos for the excellent customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low price but good sound for the moneyI bought these to replace a couple of blown tweeters and they work great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit my Optimus 5sAlmost a direct fit for my vintage Optimus 5s. Had one blown tweeter, installed this (with minor changes to teh screw holes) and it sounds great! Going to replace my other still working tweeter to match.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Than Expected!I revived this tweeter in the mail yesterday. I bought this item to test out the quality. I am very happy with what i revived. And i am now going to spend a little more and order more of the same name brand to see what i get. Product handles that watts its rated very well so far. I will make another review if it blows anytime soon

Capacitor for 1000hz and up?

I will be adding these with some 6 1\2 inch woofers. Can i tune this down to 1000hz without damaging the driver? or should i go with 2000Hz or so? What cap should I use?
Asked by: Speakerfreaker
With a free air resonance of over 4kHz I would not recommend crossing this any lower than about 8kHz with only a capacitor.

What Capacitor should i use for 4000hz and up?

I am using this in with my 4" mid-bass driver, i want all most frequencies above 3000-4000Hz. Thanks.
Asked by: Speakerfreaker
I would recommend a 10 uF capacitor for 4kHz and up.
