Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality ProductBought this for a Yamaha SM12IV crossover, as the old cap (and woofer) had blown. Leads are a great length and it does what it needs to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good bass blocking capThese caps did a very nice job for me with a 2way speaker system of 15" woofer and 4x10" horn.Installing these cleared the horn of any muddy sound they had and let them reproduce the freq range they were made for.Ended up very pleased with the sound of the system now.And how simple was the installation!AAA+

Rated 4 out of 5 by from PleasedI used these (three specs: 10, 15, 150 uf) to rebuild the 3-way crossover networks in ~30 year old Design Acoustic PS-10 speakers. They worked well for the job. Subjective sound quality is noticeably better than with the original equipment (Culver brand) electrolytic capacitors, even though the old capacitors were still within rated tolerances when metered after removal. I had to bend one of the radial leads around on the two smaller capacitors to mount them in place of the original co-axially leaded capacitors, but that worked OK.All of the new capacitors measured about 10% higher than nominal spec (Extech meter). This was still considerably better than the original capacitors which were all about 20% higher than nominal. I was also pleased to see the variability between the new capacitors was +/- 1.0%.

15uF 100V Electrolytic Non-Polarized Crossover Capacitor

I'm confused about the ratings on these electrolytic n-p caps This particular cap is rated 5% dissipation factor and 5% tolerance, but all the rest I check are rated 10% dissipation and 10% tolerance. On the catalog page it states ALL are 5%

Asked by: SydB
This is a 5% dissipation factor and 10% tolerance. This whole line should be rated like that but there may have been an issue with the data entry since they are similar numbers.

What is the size?

Asked by: Ralph A Roni
Standard 15uF 100V Non-Polarized Capacitor size is 10mm diameter and 26mm long. These are dimensions from the available data sheet for me.
