12V DC 29A 348W Regulated Switching Power Supply is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works wellRunning two 200w amps, head unit, 12" sub in ported box and 2 6x9's. Doesn't seem to struggle at all. Had to bridge the outputs otherwise one channel didn't have enough as the 29 amps are devided by three. My install is for a custom stereo in my basement bar; much better for me this way than a home stereo as its all flush mounted, looks and sounds great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems "up to the task"I bought this power supply about a month ago, and it does seem as though it will perform as expected. Though I haven't yet installed it into the project that I'll hopefully-SOON be getting to, it does appear to be well-built. I've already hooked it up to a car radio, for quick "bench-testing" of both the radio, AND the power supply. The AC power cord that came with the power supply could stand to be of better quality and of a larger wire gauge (<16 ga?).The cord has a two-prong plug, but isn't really polarized (both prongs are the smaller/identical size-- say, the size of "hot" prong, basically). When I do build the project, I'll more than likely use one of the more "hearty" cords that I have lying around! Also, there was NO written info accompanying the power supply. I know that the everyday "tinkering novice" can examine and figure out the details of something as simple as a 12V P/S. Still, info about the AC Input, AC 120/240 Select Switch, and 12V Output terminals may be useful at some point. All in all, I'm still FAIRLY satisfied with the P/S purchase! I rate it GOOD.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ground loop problemI had ground loop problems when i used this power supply to power a 12 volt car audio amplifier that was linked to my home audio receiver, besides that its a good power supply.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supply)I have a lot of experience with Mean Well pwr supplies. They have always done well by me. I noticed some comments regarding how small the transformers are. That is because these switch at approx. 50 kHz, therefore the transformers can be MUCH smaller than those used for 60 Hz. Just an FYI for those who are doubting it's ability....All and all, a great product at a great price. My only complaint is the power cord supplied. They supply a cheap polarized cord when it should be supplied with an earth grounded cord...Safety 101!! DO NOT use it. Use a grounded power cord. I cannot stress that enough!! That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars for the features.

If I use Part #110-100 (grounded pwr cord) what color wire goes to N and what color wire goes to L on pwr supply connection? I'm assuming black goes to the ground symbol. This is valuable info since this thing doesn't come with instructions

Asked by: slatfour
On an AC line, the white/red conductor is the neutral which will go to N, the black is line and will go to L, the green is ground which goes to the terminal labeled with the ground symbol.

How many strips of 16ft RGB LED lights can this power, I need about 40 ft.

Asked by: a1970gto
We usually recommend about 3 amps per strip so this will easily handle 40 feet. You will need a high powered controller in order to power that length.
