12" Wireless Subwoofer Bundle - Dayton Audio SUB-1200 12" 120W Powered Subwoofer + Sub-Link XR

Your subwoofer setup no longer has to be limited by long cables. With the Dayton Audio wireless subwoofer package, you can place your subwoofer anyplace there is an AC outlet. The setup is simple; just plug the included 3.5 mm to RCA stereo cable into the line out of your receiver and connect it to the Sub-Link XR transmitter.

The transmitter can be powered by the included USB cable/AC adapter, or directly by a USB port on your receiver. Next, place the subwoofer near any outlet within 40 ft. line-of-sight and connect the Sub-Link XR receiver. This can be powered the same way as the transmitter. Connect the receiver to the subwoofer using the included stereo or mono RCA cable. Now, pair the transmitter to the receiver and you are ready to go.

12" Wireless Subwoofer Bundle - Dayton Audio SUB-1200 12" 120W Powered Subwoofer + Sub-Link XR
12" Wireless Subwoofer Bundle - Dayton Audio SUB-1200 12" 120W Powered Subwoofer + Sub-Link XR is rated 4.25 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectationsI needed to upgrade my pathetically underperfoming Sony 8" subwoofer, and after reading many glowing reviews on the Dayton Audio Sub-1200 I ordered it with the wireless kit. It arrived double-boxed only three days after the purchase date and I found it to be a substantial and very well-constructed piece of equipment. The wireless kit was a breeze to connect and it made postitioning the sub in what I deemed the optimal location a breeze. The sub itself is impressive. It provides good LFE texture to blu-rays and 2.1 music listening.. I ran Audyssey to fine-tune my system after inserting the sub into my equipment chain and have the gain at about 50%. I would highly recommend this subwoofer to any audio and home theater enthusiast on a budget--the quality and performance is astonishing for such a reasonably-priced unit. The wireless kit is a great convenience if running cable to a location other than very close to your entertainment center.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works greatWireless works flawlessly. Sub fills out the bottom end nicely. Checked draw with the kill-a-watt meter - about 2 watts when off, about 6 watts when turned on, so I just leave it turned on all the time to avoid any "auto on" issues. Outstanding package value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price for a awesome subwooferDelivered fast and double boxed. Got it hooked up fast except I didn't use the wireless part. I've had trouble getting the wireless part to work and it's probably due to my wifi router like others have mentioned. The sub sounds great and rumbles my house like crazy. I have the crossover turned as high as it goes with my receiver crossed over at 60hz. Within 10 minutes of watching a movie it scared my wife several times lol.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty good...but one lingering issue.Came beautifully packaged. Double boxed and very fast shipping. The wireless works great although i wish it "auto" shut off with no signal. Reason being that the sub has a notorious reputation (my brand new sub included) that "auto" shut off does not work. I've seen this problem for years so I purchased thinking that they MUST have fixed this issue. NOPE. So I give it 3 stars. The wireless and sub work great!. I truly love them but it bothers me to no end that they can't fix this "auto" feature. Come on!!!!!!!

12" Wireless Subwoofer Bundle - Dayton Audio SUB-1200 12" 120W Powered Subwoofer + Sub-Link XR

Will the Dayton 1200-sub unit amp when connected with the wireless receiver provide full range output to drive a pair of surround speakers as well as the 12" sub?

Asked by: audio designs
Unfortunately no, the speaker outputs only work when the speaker level inputs are used from an amplifier. If you want a small wireless amp for surrounds that will also send a wireless sub signal, I would recommend the Dayton subwoofer by itself, with the wireless transmitter/receiver bundle in the link below.

Will the wireless work if the transmitter is inside a wood cabinet? There will be no direct line-of-sight between the transmitter and receiver, but they will only be around 10-12 feet apart.

Asked by: DSchwartz
If they are both in the same room, and are within the distance you provided, they should work fine. What we want to convey by that specification is that this product may not work as a multi-room audio system in every possible situation (where the signal must travel through multiple walls), but if the transmitter and receiver are in the same room, that should be just fine.

You will have to have a preamp or subwoofer output in order to use the wireless aspect of this subwoofer.
