10 Ohm 25W Resistor Wire Wound
10 Ohm 25W Resistor Wire Wound is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product.I bought this to use in speaker crossover circuit. I haven't use it yet. These have very tight tolerances. I measured 10.08 Ohms on one. Most were exactly 10 Ohms. They will all work well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This resistor suitable to use in audio circuitThis resistor is suitable to use in audio circuits. I did an AC phase shift test to test how much inductance in this resistor by hooking an 1 ohm carbon film resistor in series with this resistor, and then I hooked my 2 probes from my dual trace oscilloscope on each side of this resistor to see at what frequency where it starts to phase shift, this resistor is good up to 100 kHz with very low inductance with little phase shift.I use 8 of these resistor to build my speaker Impedance Compensation Network(ICN) for my 300 watt peak power rating speakers, and it's driven by my 100 watt per channel receiver. My ICN circuit requires 5 ohms @ 200 watts, and each of these resistor absorbs 7.8 watts driven by my 100 watts per channel receiver, and this resistor gets up to 108 degrees Fahrenheit or 42 degrees Celsius after running my receiver at high volume for 6 hours pounding 120 decibels of sound pressure level of loud music in my 117 square foot room. At 7.8 watts absorption for 6 hours on each of these resistors at 108 degrees resistor body temperature, you can hold your hand on this resistor for a very long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All You NeedReally does all you can ask of it. I used 4 of them to replace incandescent blinker bulbs on my motorcycle and keep a normal blink rate with the new LED replacements. What more can you ask from a simple resistor?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value in a power resistorAn enexpensive resistor for loading automotive tail lights when you replace the bulbs with LED replacements. Load makes flasher relay work properly. I prefer the more expensive aluminum case power resistors as they are more durable but are overkill for this use.
