#10-32 Deluxe 6-Prong T-Nuts 50 Pcs. is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great with MDFI used this for a PE Dayton Audio Reference 15" sub kit. It's easy to use and I tightened it down using some 1 1/2" 10/32 bolts with hex head. It installs easily, you need a 1/4" drill bit for the 10/32 bolts. You have to buy some flat washers to pull the T-nut into the MDF, but it goes easily but destroys the washer, as expected. The bolt is reusable.I don't think using a hammer or a C-clamp to install it would work any easier than using the bolt itself.I have now installed and pulled the sub driver several times, it works better each time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! These are great. They hold really well. If anything, they are hard to get in because of the 6 prong, but it's worth it. 10/32 bolts are easy to find at most hardware stores. No issues, love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect!!!! Buy these!I was looking for a package of at least 40 locally and no stores around here sell more than 4 to a package at about a dollar per package :/ So thankfully my trusty site Parts Express had them! Good bite, holds well, no problem with threading, and perfect barrel length for mounting subs onto 3/4" MDF. Holds everything nice and tight. I did have to look on another site for bolts that would work with them but I found them and they make a great combo!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 10-32 thread is not a good choiceAlthough the six prong design and depth is good, these t-nuts would be better in a 10-24 thread. 10-32 bolts/screws are a bit less common than 10-24. Cap screws in 10-32 are difficult to find anywhere but PartsExpress. I also found that the threads in mine were a bit coarsely cut. Standard 10-32 screws were a bit snug in many of the 16 t-nuts I used. I had to drive a screw in then remove it to clean up the threads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from T-nut. ah ah ahahahah T-nut (remember the song, Peanut?)What can one say to extoll the qualities of a t-nut? Well, the long threaded shaft is nice as are the 6 prongs, which are spaced about 1/8" from the hole into which the t-nut is installed. The prongs have a nice sharp point which makes it easier to pierce MDF. The prongs will easily pierce MDF to about 3/4 of their length and the full insertion is best completed with a c- clamp rather than a hammer. As with all t-nuts, a little adhesive under the tee will keep them in place should the speaker have to be replaced, although after installing one in a piece of MDF, it's hard for me to imagine someone's knocking it out by installing a speaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NiceI used these to secure a 12" sub in 3/4" oak plywood and they worked great. Since the mounting holes were very close to the edge of the speaker hole, I just had to cut a prong off each of the T-nuts so that they wouldn't interfer with the woofer. Worked great. I also put teflon tape around the screws and used some silicon behing the T-nut. Will buy again.

1- What is the length of the barrel? 2- What is the outer diameter of the flat plate that the teeth are on?

Asked by: bdp24
The barrel length is 15/32" and the base diameter is 23/32" (just under 3/4").

where can i find the bolt for these

Asked by: astrecord
Actually, Parts Express carries the correct bolt, even though you can't really find it on their website. (A subwoofer project of mine forced me to buy some fender washers from an ATV company and a bag-o-M8 screws from e-bay...)
