B&C 6PEV13 6-1/2" Midrange

I got this mid-range driver as a replacement driver for my new 3 way Carvin LM153 Speakers. The original driver was smoked the first day out. I talked to a part-express tech. and he recommended this driver as a replacement since I use this enclosure for my main vocals with high SPL levels. The driver fit although is was a lot deeper and heavier than the original. The next gig I had to do was a larger concert and this driver fit the bill!! It performed far better than the original driver, smooth and accurate. I would have paid twice the money for a speaker that performed this well!! I got more than I paid for thanks to part-express's awesome prices!

im using a pair of these for the rear of my car and they sound awesome even with no crossover every note is crisp and clean and only have 75 watts to them these speakers out perform even my hi end set which cost twice as much

I used a pair of these in a high output center channel for my home theater. I hate not being able to hear dialogue well in movies, so I decided to build my own center to remedy it. These with a eminence apt-200 horn did exactly what I wanted. This driver is real intelligible and clear till around 4500 hz where it gets a little harsh to me. I used a dayton 2 way crossover @ 3500 hz. Perfect sound comes from my center now. I did have to turn the center channel down to -2 instead of +4.The end result sounds better than most professionally made home theater centers. I might make a complete 7 piece set of these, just adding an 8" woofer ane 3 way x-over in the front ones.
