This product is AWESOME. After a 10 minute install into a Honda S2000, I had exactly what I wanted. The instructions state that there is a 10a max, but I had to use two 10a fuses for anything to work, plugged into my 10a fuse slot. To reiterate, I used both the supplied 10a fuse and the original 10a fuse and added a second power outlet under my dash.

Used it to install a separate power source for an XpressRC XM Satellite Receiver in an '09 MiniCooper. Worked as advertised, no problems.
Receiver is spec'ed at 10W, or < 1A @ 12V, so a 3A fuse was plenty for the additional circuit.
