Dayton HPSA500 500W Subwoofer Amplifier

No hum issues at all, running this amp in an LLT tuned to 15.3hz havent yet changed the capacitors to play down to tuning but power out put on my FI Q18 is remarkable with out any indication of clipping, and the amp never gets hot, just finding room for a 21hz enclosure can be tricky.

I have not noticed any hum.

I have four subwoofers in my house. This is the only one that hums. I've run the unit on a dedicated circuit in my basement. Used two different receivers to drive this thing. I cannot give a rating out of the middle since I simply do not use this extremely heavy paperweight that has cost me over $500 for my project. This was my first DIY and for a long time thought I must have done something wrong. Since reading of others with a hum issue, I have come to the conclusion that I would not purchase this amp again. I don't know how anyone can use this amp with the level of annoying hum both heard and felt by the bodies senses.
