DISCONTINUED Tang Band W4-616SA 4" Shielded Driver

used 2 of these with a GW dome tweet for a center channel and a 260-175 crossover. couldn't
be happier lots of good clean sound. great bass for a small speaker. made a small box with 1 port. (could have better wire hook-up thats the 4.5)

Definitely a good speaker driver. I gutted a pair of small Radioshack Optimus speakers and transplanted these in with everthing the same. Sounds like an entirely new speaker. Surprising bass for the size but I definitely think that they need a subwoofer and probably should be paired in a better enclosure with a tweeter. For my application though they are perfect.

It may not have the range accosiated with lager multi way systems but i was very impressed with the hf performance, very smooth and natural sounding, perfect mini monitors. i also tried two units in per enclosure (sealed) the low end is very impressive for a 4" unit...
