Ideal for mid-sized bass reflex and many other designs, this is Vifa's most popular woofer. It utilizes a cast magnesium basket, rubber surround, mineral filled polypropylene cone, and very smooth frequency response. I have a pair of Definitive Technology BP-10 speakers that are almost 20 years old and I love them. However, I was having trouble with one of the woofers and after some research I discovered that this is the OEM woofer. It took about 10 minutes to remove the old woofer and install the new woofer and now my speaker is as good as new. Parts Express is awesome, I received my order the next day.
