like others have mentioned, some of these don't fit very tight, a little squeeze from some plastic pliers and no worries. These are GREAT plugs for the money, nice looking, good finish, I made up a set of interconnects and they work great and cost me a fraction of a nice retail set of shielded interconnects.

The mixed reviews on this plug are a bit surprising given its low price point. It does feature gold plated connectors, albeit only at the end. The rest is your run of the mill cadnium or similar metal. I've bought dozens of these over the years and haven't run into any problems using them, although I'll agree they don't "grip" very well.
