Small but mighty! This high performance amplifier module packs big-amp features into a compact chassis that is ideal for installation into cabinets that can't accommodate bulky old style amps. We made it small, but included everything that you need to connect the amp to your system and get maximum performance. Input/output connections are through your choice of either line level RCA connectors, or speaker level banana jacks. A stereo input signal is summed to mono and sent to the internal low pass crossover, which is selectable from 40 to 180 Hz, and the input gain sensitivity is fully adjustable as well. A phase reverse switch helps you to achieve the best acoustical match with the rest of your speakers, and an Auto On/Off switch keeps the amp standing by, waiting for an input signal to turn it on. A large surface area heatsink is combined with internal overload, thermal, and short circuit protection so that you can expect years of reliable operation. Dimensions: 7-1/2" W x 8-11/16" H x 4-3/4" D. Cutout dimensions: 6-1/2" W x 7-1/2" H.

I sometimes use this amp to power a spherex Xbox sub as my main bass monitor at gigs. It is usually plenty loud onstage or sometimes I use it to power my homemade BxTTkxcker I fashioned from 2'x 2' 3/4 inch plywood,4 rubber feet and an Aura bass shaker. Overall I'm very happy with it. I need to purchase another for my home theater system.

Decent amp for the money

Bought this to power a 10" DVC sub @ 4 ohms.
Amp works good, not the hardest hitting but for the money, it does the job. Ran it for almost 6 hrs straight at my neice's grad party and it never got hot or distorted. If you are looking for some added low end and don't need to thump the next door neighbor's windows, this amp will work fine.

The amp on my 9 year-old Mission 8" sub blew in January right after getting my new Denon AVR.
I was dreading laying out big bucks to replace it but I found this amplifier at Parts Express and had to try it out.
The amp is a great replacement, the shipping was fast to Canada (2 days) and it was a snap to install.
It sounds even better than the original amp.
would definitely buy from PE again.
