The Quatro™ Series subwoofers have been designed and built based on the well-respected platform of the Dayton Series II woofers. By implementing a 4 ohm voice coil and extending the excursion capabilities, the Quatro™ woofers now become serious contenders for home theatre and automotive use. The long excursion design and high sensitivity allows you to take advantage of modest power amplifiers, while the relatively high DC resistance makes them very friendly to 4-ohm stable amps and will not cause overheating or other amplifier stability problems. I have an older one that is used and it speced out a little different. .25^ft sealed with alittle eq, in the back of my B4000, and I have nice bass.

I'm fairly new to the loudspeaker construction realm, but I couldn't be more pleased with the turn out of my T-line Sub project thanks to this driver. It can hit hard and accurate with no noticeable distortion (at least to my ear). I will be looking to Dayton Audio for outfitting future projects.
