Dayton SD215-88 8" Shielded DVC Subwoofer

For the price this is truly one outstanding subwoofer.
I would give this speaker a 5 star WOW, with a triple A plus sound quality & a mark of excellance for performace.

When I bought them, I paid 19. I looked at the current price. STILL worth it. Paired these with a TangBand Ceramic Dome. You would think a sub would not work in a two-way system; think again. With the low extension of the ceramic it works. In fact don't filter the bass. Just filter the dome, to protect it. Wish it was possible for you to hear them, hearing is believing.

If I didn't also have 2 15" Dayton subs, I might find this one unable to shake the house apart. But I'm pretty sure I would think it sounded very nice. I am ordering another one because my big subs are making me. They demand more power handling capability. They are also making me buy more main speakers. I am buying another one of thse instead of a completely different 8" sub because this one is resonably priced and sounds very nice.
