The black anodized cone, rubber surround, and custom basket give this driver a unique, high-end look. Bump'n a bass drum shell........

Turned my 22" bass drum shell into a sub and got this woof to finish the project. Sounds way better than the original, plus the shell KILLS the old box it was in. I would prefer a little more clarity and power handling, but I think it has something to do with my cheap amp. All in all it works.

I expected better resolution, but I think some of the muddiness I'm getting out of this unit is due to the cheap Dayton 240w plate amp I bought at the time. I can't substitute another amp to check though. I'll give both units equal ratings. Getting pretty low sound out of this. From a Stereophile mag check CD, I'm hearing (feeling!?) frequencies into the 20's htz.
