Pioneer B20FU20-51FW 8" Full Range Driver

Connected them to Harman/Kardon AVR 147 to break them in, no cabinet, temporary connections. Even at low volume with no baffle the sound is warm and rich. I bought these they were were highly rated for the money. So far I am very impressed, will buy more.

I swapped out my old no name brand Home Theatre speakers with these and the sound is 10x better than before and saved me a ton of money since I didn't have to buy a whole new speaker system. I am VERY pleased with this speaker!

As per PE's recommendations I tested the driver without any soldering/permanent connection using a small component system and both drivers were working.

I then proceeded to install one of the driver in its cabinet and tested on my bench using my newly acquired Beatle mono collection :-) in a DVD player through a SAMSON 300 powered mixer. The sound was ratter harsh and the driver seamed to be somewhat power hungry(compared to the original drivers) but I realize I might have been biased since I was testing with better quality speakers earlier. I have not installed the second driver yet as it was getting late and priority was given to my quality vintage speakers ratter than those.
