These speakers were used with less than 5 watts coming from an amateur radio transceiver. They were built into a simple infinite baffle plywood box and exceeded expectations for voice clarity.

It produced better detail than the Tang band speakers costing much more. It does not have magnetic shielding which could pose a problem near video components.
