Constant Directivity Horn

I use these drivers in line array mains and small monitors for stage and studio and like to cap them off at around 1.5mf 100v They have nice deffinition and put out respectable spl's
The fact the P.E. sells replacement diaphragms for these really sold me on them in the first place.A Constant Directivity Horn for under $10.00 with a repacement diaphragm for under $3.00....How could you go wrong? Oh you have to solder in the replacement diaphragm if you should happen to blow one though.If you cross this driver at 2.5khz or above you'll be amazed at how much power this little horn will take.I've been using them for years and have been very pleased!

I have these in a mobile DJ PA set, 3-way crossover. They've served me well for many years, quite loud and clear. I like horns, even in hi-fi, but these are probably best suited for PA. They're not mellow or smooth, just sensitive and loud. I had one of them separate, the driver and horn simply fit together, glued. I re-glued it, it's as good as new. They've been out in the hot sun, dead of winter, bounced around in the car, and they keep going.

These look expensive and are a good efficiency match for the Carvin PS-8 bass drivers I am using them with. They get occasional PA use but spend most of their time in my wood shop. They can play loud. I am thinking of building another pair using these with a pair of the Dayton 6" PA drivers. I am using a series crossover configuration at about 2.5K.
