DISCONTINUED Sonic Impact 5062 Super-T Amplifier

Enjoying the many merits of small wattage amps (tube set/gaincard/d-mos), i couldn't pass up purchasing the super-t. after only minutes of listening, i knew this amp was something very special. an outstanding product, outstanding performance, and a surprising abilty to drive any speaker i have tried so far with ease. if there is a con to this amp, i would have to say the binding posts could be better, the amp i received had the binding post contacts recessed into the plastic so far when tighened, my speaker cable spade connector was between plastic to plastic, no contact. replacement of the binding posts were in order, which was an elementary procedure at best. however, you will have to use caution with your binding post selection, because you could easily exceed the cost of the amp with some replacement posts! an excellent sounding amp at an obscenely low cost. ever wonder what the profit margins are for high-end solidstate amps? this amp will tell you that too. a great product.

I'm sure this is a fine product when it actually works, but mine was busted right out of the box--one of the inputs is simply defective.

I will be returning this product ASAP.

no more tubes,digital receivers,big amplifiers.i love my sonic-t amplifier,mission speakers,straightwire cable.for small rooms is better than my, rega,creek,rotel,integrated amplifiers and better than my ,jolida,old marantz,etc.
