The first product available in the new EON G2 line is the EON15 G2, with more than twice the power of the original EON 15P! Creating a new benchmark for portable powered speaker systems, JBL is announcing the launch of the second generation of its famed EON series: the EON G2 Powered Speaker System. The next wave of EON systems is build upon the high level of performance that has come to be expected from JBL EON speakers. The flagship of the new series is the JBL EON15 G2, delivering 300 watts of power to a 15" neodymium Differential Drive® LF driver. The driver boasts a dual neodymium magnet and dual voice coil motor that efficiently delivers high output from a lightweight woofer. Meanwhile, the HF amplifier delivers 100 watts of power to a 1.75" titanium diaphragm compression driver with Ferro-fluid cooling. Features and specifications: • 300 watts low-frequency and 100 watts high-frequency (bi-amplified) - actual power delivered to the drivers • Crossover frequency: 1,500 Hz • Frequency response: 42 to 17,000 Hz (± 3 dB) • SPL: 129 dB @ 1m • 60° x 90° (nominal) constant directivity horn with 1" throat • Built-in 3-input mixer - one balanced mic/line and two 1/4" line-level inputs • Two-band equalization • Balanced loop-thru/mix output - ideal for daisy-chaining • Integral 1-3/8" (35mm) pole mount receptacle • Dimensions: 27" H x 17" W x 17-1/2" D • Net weight: 46 lbs.
