Gold Binding Post To Binding Post Pair

I've seen similar items elsewhere that cost less. However, PE's price is fair. That said they are very sturdy and fit perfectly into the keystone sockets I bought them for.

I just don't get what the notches are for. Maybe they're for extra torque with a flat implement.

These binding posts are high quality with a solid feel and excellent surface finish. The knurled surfaces make it easy to grip the posts and tighten/loosen them. They fit perfectly with the wall plate inserts that I bought here.
