The Amp 5.1 is a fully featured, high current, fan cooled monoblock power amps. High quality components are housed within heavy-gauge steel; these amplifiers sound as impressive as they look. Large toroidal power supplies and oversized capacitors ensure sufficient headroom while staying stable into loads as low as two ohms and a line-out allows a single signal to drive additional amplifiers. An IEC jumper cord is available for daisy chaining amps together in a rack system. Powerful but noisy

Clean powerful amps. really brought out the full potential of my auxdax home theater speakers. Unfortunately these amps have no external sensitivity adjustment and would shut down all but the center channel at low listening levels. I found a work around for that but could not do anything about the fan noise. The very small fan at the back of the case that is quite noisy, especially when five of these amps are on at once.

I am using this product to drive an in wall sub. For that application it might be underpowered. I might consider upgrading to the next size 5.3.

Unit is very compact. When driven hard it does get hot on the sides.
