Dayton XO3W-625/5K 3-Way Crossover 625/5,000 Hz

this is what ties my 3-way stereo monitor together. as you can see from the specs, this is a pretty versatile cross over: 4ohm/8ohm switchable woofer loads(my amp works better at a 4ohm load..louder/more power will do that.and these frequencies are just what i needed to tie my 12" woofers(290-332), the 5 1/4 mid-range(280-240) and my 2x5 piezo tweeter(270-041). considering the frequencies of all these, I could of went with cross-over(260-152) and been right at the specific points for the gear but i wanted to go with a little more snap on the woofer at 625hz and crossing over the mid range higher on the scale to bring it closer to the tweeters frequency(3500hz->5000hz) so they could sound more cohesive in their placement on the cabinet. anyway this crossover works great with what i have and i bet there's plenty more uses for this with switchable woofer resistance like puttin two woofers together in the chain. I would hope in the future that parts express carry a 3-way like this with more power handling capabilities. Thanks Parts-Express!!
