The Dayton Audio Series II heavy duty woofers feature natural sounding paper cones that are chemically treated for extra durability and long life. The combination of a large magnet structure, vented pole piece, bumped backplate, and large voice coil provides excellent power handling capability with high efficiency and very low distortion. Efficient, deep bass!

I replaced the (wimpy) 12" woofers of my Klipsch Heresy's with these. They not only gave me about another octave of bass extension, but they also fixed the midrange nasties. The old woofers never could match the volume of the tweeter and squawker horns; the Dayton Classic II's depth, volume, and punch nicely balance the horns. They sound better 18" off the floor, in the corners.

I recently purchased 2 of these to use as replacements for some cheap floor monitors. I was shocked at the sound quality that came out of these speakers. The low end is very booming yet intelligible. Awesome speakers for the price

Could never drive Sony's factory 12" woofers more than 50%. These new ones shake the ceiling. Speaker cutout had to be enlarged 1/2" but well worth the labor. Quality product.
