Eminence LAB 12 Generation II 12" Subwoofer

This subwoofer did not dissapoint. I bought 4 drivers, put 2 ea into folded bass horns (Labhorn). Ended up with stereo subwoofers for a nice P.A. system. Powered both labhorns with a Crown XLS 1500 and I was able to reach 126db about 1 meter from the opening of the two labhorns. This was playing bass heavy music, not test tones. I use RTA with a behringer ECM8000 and this sub had excellent FR with no required eqing. I would recommend ample power for a Labhorn of at least 1KW RMS for maximum potential.

In additon, I'm running active XO with a 24DB LR from 40hz to 140hz and this sub runs like a champ. I got a little bit better extension if I set the highpass lower than 40hz, but power handling is improved with a 40hz or 45hz HP.

Planing on building a few TH-Mini style cabs
preformance cant rate yet but from what i here

Built the Horn Loaded Enclosure for a pair and I am impressed. The neighbors might not be though. Drive the enclosure with an Behringer Europower 1400.
