DISCONTINUED Audax TW010I1 3/8" Titanium Composite Dome Twee

I am using this unit as a super-tweeter in 2-way system teamed up with a Dayton RS-125 woofer and a Pyramid TW-18 tweeter. This driver's usable response extends from 5kHz to 20kHz with a 6dB peak at 10kHz. I have it crossed over at 7kHz with a 1.5uF capacitor, which helps smooth out the 10kHz peak and results in a very clean sounding and extended trebble. The removable face plate is a nice feature that allows very close spacing to the tweeter.

Can't wait to install them in a speaker project I'm working on...fantastic value!

This tweeter is an exact replacement for certain JBL HiFi speakers (Audax also being a Harmon company) I used them on a pair of TLX-181 speakers. Twist the driver to the right (like backwards threads) to remove it from the flange, and put it onto the original JBL flange. JBL wants $27.
