Dayton DC28F-8 1-1/8" Silk Dome Tweeter

I used these to replace tweeters in a pair of Marantz HD660 speakers. They sound better than the originals. I am pleased with the results for the price paid.

This tweeter is a great buy for the $$$$! I purchased these to replace some KLH aluminum dome tweeters and wow, what a difference. These are smooth sounding but with great detail. They don't seem overly harsh like the aluminum tweeters I had in my speakers and they blend with the line arrays they are mounted in. Well done Dayton! These speakers are phenomenal!!!!

I was skeptical of using cerwin vega crossovers with these because I prefer JBL, or custom. To my surprise these tweeters are really precise and dont have the "tinny" type of high output like some tweets. Soft dome was a great choice. The crossovers im using are 200w/rms 400w max. They will definitely handle power fine. Outside mounting diameter is 4-1/4 inch. I let mine break in for about a week before pushing lots of power. Great product.
