Tang Band W69-1042J 6"x9" Subwoofer

i bought three of these bad boys and love them.

I'm using this in my 1996 Honda Prelude VTEC which was originally equipped with a center 6x9 subwoofer in between the back seats. With some modifications, i was able to mount it nicely. I had to drill holes in the speaker to mount it though. Otherwise it's being powered from a JVC Amplifier which is bridged and giving the sub 130W RMS @ 4Ohms. So because of the 6.5Ohms it's about right supplying it with about 90W RMS. Anyway it can't handle much volume on some songs or it starts to make popping sounds. Tune your headunit and it sounds really good and u can really feel the bass in the seats. It is very high quality and sounds nice at good volume levels. Once u start blasting it though u have to tune down the sub to keep up.

These speakers have great sound! They don't handle alot of power like larger subwoofers can, but if it is some deep bass without a BIG box in your trunk...these are for you. You will need to trim the opening for the subs to drop into and make sure you have enough room for the magnets(nice size!) to clear.
